I chose Fury because it seems to be a good quality "league" cue for a good price. Unless you're looking for resale or vanity, buying all the fancy inlays (to me) is just throwing money away. I am very happy with the hit of the Fury, but I've not tried o whole lot of brands.

Jeff Olney Custom (2). Best hitting cues I've ever played with....period
One is a plain jane used for breaking and the other I designed and he built.

I started out playing with a Cuetec but sold it. I have been using a Player for years. Good stick. My favorite stick is an old 17 oz. house stick at the bar. I found out it's not the stick that wins, it's the shooter.

I've been playing w/ A Robert Weir Custom Cue. Bought it new when Mothers first opened. Tried to replace it w/ other cues, but by far, the best hitting piece of wood around. |

| Tom Hedges made my Cue. So it's not noname. It's a Hedges. I use a phenolic tip. I shoot with it, break with it, masse with it and jump with it. The shaft is less than 17 oz and the tip width is probably less than 9mm. I need a second shaft. I'd cry if I broke it. |

I play with a Predator 5K4 with the weight bolt removed making it 17oz. My break/jump cue is a Cobra brand "sneaky pete". But speaking of Tom Hedges....he modified the Cobra cue with a phenolic tip, cut the butt and put a quick-release joint in it for the break butt. I have been on the Hedges Cue playing staff for a little while now and he does great work that is reasonable and quick. You can catch him at the Smokin' Cue most evenings.

| I shoot with an old Meuchi with a Predator Z shaft that Mr. Thomas Hedges did some work on for me. Great stick, deserves a better player. |

Adrenaline Cue...
I looked at all sorts of cues and they all (in my price range) said the same things regarding the tip, shaft, and joint. Since it was my first purchased cue and really didn't have a preference, I went with the cue that just looked cool. Works fine for me. The inconsistencies are in my stroke, not in the cue.
my 2 cents. |

I'm using a Dale Perry at www.dpcues.com Great cue.
Unfortunately I don't have half the skill playing pool as he has in creating the cues!
